How I got Started
In January 2022, I was out with my bird dog (Sage) and a good friend and his dog. We were out looking for valley quail. Sage got a cut on her leg from barbed wire and was bleeding pretty good. By some stroke of luck, I had blood clotting powder, some gauze and tape in my vest. I was able to get the bleeding stopped, and Sage back to the truck and to professional care. Later that day as I played that scene back in my mind and wondered, what if I did not have those few items?
That realization of being prepared to give first aid to my best friend spurred me to develop a first aid kit that had all the essentials yet was small enough to carry in a vest, daypack or cargo pocket. Since then, the idea grew to a web-based business and here I am. I want to grow this idea and my goal is to soon provide dog owners and their dogs those things to be healthy and safe in the outdoors and at home.
